4th Pic

So I seen a tutorial on charming.blogspot.com  about a frame/mirror turned into a chalk board and I fell in love with it. So I decided to make one for my sister's wedding shower gift. I will post the whole thing tomorrow when it is all done! But I had to stick to my pic a day so here is a sneak peak :)
Let me know what you think!!

This is what it looked like when I started
And this is the almost finished project!!
It has turned out so much better than the pictures give it credit for! Can't wait to see her face!

3rd pic

So Keagyn has been hitting a pulling hair and just being naughty. I was not sure how to respond to this so I started doing the same thing back to her. Well surprise surprise, it made things worse...Duh!! I would tell her "Don't hit" and then I would tap her hand. Of course it didn't work.
So I started putting her in time out. It seams to be working pretty good so far.
Today I had to take a picture of how cute she looks in time out and she caught me with the camera and had to cheese it. She is such a nut but I love every single ounce of her!!!

2nd Pic

We got a new dishwasher!!! Yeah I am so excited! I just had to share Keagyn helping out her daddy. She even had her own screwdriver and was doing exactly what Chad did! She has learned so much and just copies almost everything that we do!

New Goal 2011-2012

I have a new goal. It is mainly just for me (Chad thinks I'm pretty weird) but I want to do it and share it to who ever whats to read my blog.
My new goal is a picture a day for the next year. I started on May 28th and I will post a new pic every day for 1 year! The pictures do not have to be anything specific but I am going to try and do something that has stood out in my mind that day.

This is my first picture. Keagyn has been posing for me lately! So I just had to share how silly she is.!

SUMMER TIME!!!

Wow! I forgot how busy we get during summer, but I love every min of it!!
This week consist of a Welcome home party for Trey, a Going away party for Tammy, 2 bridal showers for Nish, and a visit to the Zoo!!!!

Also, we are going to start shopping for a new car!!! Prob a van, but heck anything with enough room for 7 people. Can you believe I need something for 7 people? I would really like the Honda Odyssey!!

It has some really neat features but I'm not sure how much we really want to spend just for "fun" features.
But I know what ever we get we are going to be so happy to not have to drive 2 cars around just to get everyone to each place!

Here's to the start of the best summer!!! Happy Memorial Day everyone!!

Yard work

What a great day today. With all the rain we have had the last couple of weeks, it was so nice to have a sunny day. Me and Keagyn worked in the garden all morning. Then after her 2 hour nap we went up to my Mom's and helped her plant flowers in her garden. I am so worn out tonight but it feels really good to be productive!

I am so excited to plant all of the flowers that we bought! I think that it is going to look amazing. We may have to go and get a few more for our big flower bed but we might just have to wait awhile.

Chad has been working his poor little butt off these last 3 weeks. He's been working about 16 hours a day... Poor guy. Today was an awful day for him. He got to work early hoping to be home early and they didn't have any of his paper work ready. So he sat there for 3 hours waiting for them to fax it to him. Pro-he got paid to take a nap. Con- he wont be home till around 3 A.M. now.

He is such a wonderful provider for our family! I could not have asked for a better husband in my wildest dreams!

All in all, my life is FABULOUS!!!!
Well here is the new Chatlin Blog... I am so excited to start this blog because it is going to focus on the Chatlin Family instead of just Chad and I!!! This way I will be able to keep track of all the fun stuff we do threw out the years!

We are so excited to summer to get here! We have a ton of plans but have not been able to even start half of them because of all this dang rain. Some of our adventures are, putting sod in the back yard (YeAh!!) Planting flowers, taking Keagyn to the Zoo, going camping with the whole family, planning our cruse trip for next year, lots and lots of bbq's out on our new patio!

I am so excited to share all of our families adventures with everyone!
